The sun was shining on Kuopio and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Collector could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Markku Nieminen wanted a little to much in the start and Forceful Play galoped for 30 m.




Guilty Pleasure quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Journey Man sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Guilty Pleasure suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Forceful Play was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Journey Man looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Big Collector took the lead.



Big Collector kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Big Collector. Journey Man came in second. Climbing Behemoth became third.
