The sun was shining on Bergen today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Remarkable. General Bear ended up behind the leader. Fast Play got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Fast Play saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Remarkable who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Rose Marie sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.



Fast Play was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Minnesmerke sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.






Minnesmerke kept the speed the whole finish and won before Toronto Maiden and Pointing Maid.
