One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stepping Maid tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Gold Ginger Whirlwind that came steaming ahead.




Trudi Larockma quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Gold Ginger Whirlwind galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Gorgeous Moment sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Gorgeous Moment followed by Kelly Hof and Stepping Maid. Lane two Sunday Venus followed by Trudi Larockma and Gold Ginger Whirlwind.




Gorgeous Moment was still in the lead after 2000m.



Sunday Venus was first on the homestretch followed by Trudi Larockma and Stepping Maid.






Gorgeous Moment won. Stepping Maid came in second. Trudi Larockma caught third place.
