The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Thrill Of Speed sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Get It All suddenly started to galop. Erik Adielsson had to struggle to get Get It All to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




Light Sunray saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Geir Almighty looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Happy Lieutenant couldn't come out from behind the leader, Light Sunray.




Light Sunray was still in the lead after 1500m.



Knightly Flower was first on the homestretch followed by Thrill Of Speed and Geir Almighty.






Final standings. 1 Thrill Of Speed, 2 Knightly Flower, 3 Kentish Town.
