The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Crossing Nova took the lead after a very quick start. Björn Goop wanted a little to much in the start and Big Wave galoped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Daft Punk Mercy sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Crossing Nova took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Crossing Nova today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Big Wave galoped for 10 m. Crossing Nova were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

driver couldn't keep Daft Punk Mercy to trotting so they were disqualified.




Sad Dreamcatcher won the race after a spectacular finish.
