The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Strong Ship found a gap and took the lead. Silver Body followed before Lonely Gossip. Quick Bullet galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Kaffir Face sprinted to the front. Quick Bullet started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Silver Body saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Silver Body kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Strong Ship gallopped 10 m after 2000m. Quick Bullet was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.

Silver Body looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Close Dragon made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Silver Body.
