One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rebel Face was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Vouloir Gagner saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Vouloir Gagner clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Wiss Shadow accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Wiss Shadow showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Vouloir Gagner litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Rebel Face never caught up with Vouloir Gagner who won. Rugged Power came third.
