The weather had been good all week and Leangen was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Screamer was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Scarecrow, Official Speech, Wild Heroine, Competitive Dribbler, Good Looking Boy, Screamer, Hoping Movement, . Hoping Movement was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Competitive Dribbler sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Competitive Dribbler followed by Screamer and Scarecrow. Lane two Official Speech followed by Wild Heroine and Good Looking Boy.



Competitive Dribbler sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Official Speech won the race after a spectacular finish.
