One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gare Du Nord sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Ubel Larockma quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Snowy Thrasher took the lead after 1000m. Playing Needle didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Snowy Thrasher followed by Gare Du Nord and Wandering Star. Lane two Ubel Larockma followed by Playing Needle and Convicted By Law.




Ubel Larockma seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Gare Du Nord speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Snowy Thrasher won. Gare Du Nord came in second. Wandering Star caught third place.
