The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Barbara Tango tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Whatcha Gonna Do that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Glorious started to galop and lost 20 m.




Whatcha Gonna Do was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Whatcha Gonna Do followed by Decisive Piece and Cruz. Lane two Barbara Tango followed by Glorious and Running Pirate.



With only a little left of the race Jockey galoped for 10 m. Whatcha Gonna Do kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Dead Moon galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Glorious never caught up with Whatcha Gonna Do who won. Decisive Piece came third.
