One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Smiling Nutcracker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Coughing Blossom suddenly started to galop. Andre H Stensen had to struggle to get Coughing Blossom to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Rumbling Mountain clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Sleeping Passion showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Russian Gold followed by Rumbling Mountain and Smiling Nutcracker. Lane two Cool Man followed by Aviator and Arctic Fever.



Russian Gold kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Arctic Fever galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Smiling Nutcracker didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
