One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pires found a gap and took the lead. Lauréat followed before Unire Mio Viaggio.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Pires clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Lauréat saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Lauréat kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Pires sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
