It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Talisman could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Tender Crusher suddenly started to galop. Svend Dyhrberg had to struggle to get Tender Crusher to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Le Tonnerre who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Fort Knox On Fire took the lead after 1000m. Talisman didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Fort Knox On Fire didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
