One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Seductive Lilac tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Shining Venus that came steaming ahead.




Shining Venus was in fine shape and held the lead.




Nocciola took the lead after 1000m. Shining Venus didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Spontané showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Seductive Lilac looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Seductive Lilac sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Spontané galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Seductive Lilac looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Nocciola won the race after a spectacular finish.
