Only a humble breeze blew over Kurtakko this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Punching Pirate took the lead after a very quick start. Hanna Olofsson wanted a little to much in the start and Punching Pirate galoped for 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Dynamit Race saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Heavenly Cocktail started to gallop after 1500m and Harri Koivunen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Punching Pirate was first on the homestretch followed by Dynamit Race and Heavenly Cocktail.






Dynamit Race made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Punching Pirate.
