One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





First Serve took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one First Serve followed by Partisan Pete and Prima Sunset. Lane two Nessuno Segreto followed by Useless Affliction and Seductive Pixie.




First Serve was still in the lead after 2000m.



Useless Affliction galloped way to long and was disqualified. First Serve sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






First Serve didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
