It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Monday Electra could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Les Équitable Choix sprinted to the front.




Monday Electra sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Francio Vox saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Light Striker started to gallop after 1500m and Hans-Owe Sundberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Les Équitable Choix suddenly took over the lead.



Monday Electra speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Les Équitable Choix sprinted over the finishline before Mr Junior and Francio Vox.
