One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Art Director sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Mirage De Victoire galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Walking Red clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Mirage De Victoire was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Art Director was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 20 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Giresse gallopped for 30 m.




Art Director sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Art Director looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Mirage De Victoire galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Walking Red never caught up with Art Director who won. Giresse came third.
