One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Random Rockbear found a gap and took the lead. Ferocious Muscle followed before Fiendslayer Paladin Baby. Strong Ship was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. Drago Volante was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Blossoming Duchess, Funky Closet, Fiendslayer Paladin Baby, Drago Volante, Toulouse, Ferocious Muscle, Nice Price Pegasos, Rebel In The Quick. driver couldn't keep Random Rockbear to trotting so they were disqualified.

Blossoming Duchess was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Blossoming Duchess today. It continued in the lead.

Blossoming Duchess didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Toulouse suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

No-one could catch Toulouse today who won before Blossoming Duchess and Nice Price Pegasos.
