It had been raining for several days at Kannus but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Electric Summer could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Schönheit Melodie was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Eternal Thinker sprinted to the front.

Electric Summer took the lead after 1000m. Schönheit Melodie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Electric Summer today. It continued in the lead. Schönheit Melodie showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Electric Summer kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Whispering Starlight gallopped 30 m after 2000m.

Electric Summer looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Turning Diva sprinted over the finishline before Electric Summer and Silly Lipstick.
