It had been raining for several days at Jägersro but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wilthorns Bad Girl found a gap and took the lead. Black Momentum followed before Balmoral Castle.




Balmoral Castle quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Loyal Blizzard sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Loyal Blizzard was still in the lead after 1500m. Whatcha Gonna Do galloped for 20 m.




Balmoral Castle suddenly took over the lead. Black Momentum gallopped 20 m after 2000m. Oliver Kahn gallopped 40 m after 2000m.



Balmoral Castle kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
