One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shining Sparrow tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Purple Sunshine that came steaming ahead.




Shining Sparrow saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Skipping Box sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Shining Sparrow looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Spontané seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Shining Sparrow galoped for 10 m. With only a little left of the race Skipping Box galoped for 40 m. Shining Sparrow was first on the homestretch followed by Spontané and Glamorous News.






Glamorous News won. Purple Sunshine came in second. Spontané caught third place.
