One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tough Blizzard sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Tough Blizzard suddenly started to galop. Per Ludvig Nilsen had to struggle to get Tough Blizzard to tror again and succeded after 10 m.

Fortunata quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Helpful Dribbler looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sliding Rocker couldn't come out from behind the leader, Mainstream Jazz. Tough Blizzard galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mainstream Jazz followed by Helpful Dribbler and Steel Mountain. Lane two Sliding Rocker followed by Stunning Cherry and Happy Glam.

Sliding Rocker was first on the homestretch followed by Mainstream Jazz and Steel Mountain.

Steel Mountain sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
