One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





As Usual could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Sergeant Folder saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.




Sergeant Folder clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sergeant Folder today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 40 m.



With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 50 m. Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Copieux was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Sergeant Folder kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Copieux sprinted over the finishline before As Usual and Sergeant Folder.
