The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Turning Whirlwind took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Frau Blücher Pegasos, Galaxyland Zipper, Frozen Boulder, Lyxwaux, White Hart Lane, Turning Whirlwind, Tubbies, The Skater.




The leader got disturbed by something and White Hart Lane took the lead rather easily.




Galaxyland Zipper saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Galaxyland Zipper kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Frozen Boulder galop. Frozen Boulder lost 20 m. Frau Blücher Pegasos galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Winner of todays race was Galaxyland Zipper. Tubbies came in second. Turning Whirlwind became third.
