The weather had been good all week and Skellefteå was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Little Feeling tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Merci Encore that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Little Feeling sprinted to the front.




Merci Encore took the lead after 1000m. Little Feeling didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Merci Encore suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.



Merci Encore took the lead after 1000m. Purple Cookie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.






Purple Cookie never caught up with Merci Encore who won. Little Feeling came third.
