The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mississippi Beauty sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Wandering Starshine galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Mississippi Beauty took the lead after 1000m. Sneaky Asteroid didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. driver couldn't keep East Clubber to trotting so they were disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mississippi Beauty followed by Sneaky Asteroid and Intelligent Power. Lane two Stone Gossard followed by Maxime Maxence and Helpful Stereo.



Mississippi Beauty kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Wandering Starshine was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Sneaky Asteroid made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Mississippi Beauty.
