One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Perfect Thought found a gap and took the lead. Big Cruiser followed before Breaking Midnight.




Breaking Midnight saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Perfect Thought looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Big Cruiser couldn't come out from behind the leader, Breaking Midnight. Falling Box galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.



With only a little left of the race Stifling Grove galoped for 20 m. Perfect Thought looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Big Cruiser couldn't come out from behind the leader, Breaking Midnight.






Perfect Thought sprinted over the finishline before Breaking Midnight and Big Cruiser.
