One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Flaming Princess. Giant Spice ended up behind the leader. Fascinator got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Turning Pie was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Full Contact, Flaming Princess, Max Beard, Turning Pie, Giant Spice, Rocking Horse, Fascinator, Monte Carlo. Feisty Filly started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Full Contact was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Full Contact was still in the lead after 1500m.



Giant Spice speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Monte Carlo was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




No-one could catch Giant Spice today who won before Full Contact and Max Beard.
