The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Färjestad this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Playing Garden could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Dagfinn Aarum wanted a little to much in the start and Outspoken Steel galoped for 50 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Playing Garden was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Light Moonlight was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Playing Garden today. It continued in the lead. Playing Garden galloped for 20 m. Outspoken Steel showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Playing Garden was still in the lead after 2000m.

Playing Garden looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Light Moonlight sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
