One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Power Sergeant found a gap and took the lead. Strong Cruiser followed before Trembling Sky.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Strong Cruiser sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Glamorous Necklace who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Strong Cruiser clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Strong Cruiser was still in the lead after 1500m.




Strong Cruiser kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Strong Cruiser was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Strong Cruiser kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Power Sergeant won the race after a spectacular finish.
