The weather had been good all week and Oulu was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Big
Mountain found a gap and took the lead.
Øst Til Vest followed before
Narayana. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m. When the startcar left the field Max
Tank started to galop and lost 50 m.
There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.
Narayana started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Narayana looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Øst Til Vest couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Big
Mountain. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Mountain was still in the lead after 1500m.
Big
Mountain didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Unknown was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.
With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 50 m.

Mountain looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Mountain was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.
Øst Til Vest sprinted over the finishline before
Max
Tank and
Narayana.
