The sun was shining on Mariehamn today. A perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Funky Blossom. Feuergeist ended up behind the leader. Heat It Up got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Feuergeist saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Barefoot Diamond started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Heat It Up sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Heat It Up followed by Funky Blossom and . Lane two Feuergeist followed by Barefoot Diamond and . Heat It Up sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. driver couldn't keep Heat It Up to trotting so they were disqualified. Feuergeist sprinted over the finishline before Funky Blossom and Barefoot Diamond. Results
