One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Carlos Afrodite. Sad Beard ended up behind the leader. Leftwinger got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Citrin sprinted to the front.




Diamant Brut looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Leftwinger couldn't come out from behind the leader, Citrin.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Citrin followed by Leftwinger and Beauty Without Cause. Lane two Diamant Brut followed by Carlos Afrodite and Sad Beard.




Citrin didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Leftwinger gallopped 20 m after 2000m.



Citrin looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Diamant Brut, 2 Citrin, 3 Carlos Afrodite.
