Start List
The sun was shining on Karlshamn today. A perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Fighting Gentleman sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. This is the positions after 500m. Competitive Dribbler, Asche Zu Asche, Lukewarm Cherry, Courageous Ship, Prima Breath, Pidyn Bach, Farica Larockma, Frosty Beauty. Asche Zu Asche took the lead after 1000m. Competitive Dribbler didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Screamer saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Asche Zu Asche started to gallop after 1500m and Stefan Persson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Screamer didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Prima Breath was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m. Screamer looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Frosty Beauty galop. Frosty Beauty lost 50 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Pidyn Bach galop. Pidyn Bach lost 10 m. Refused sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
