The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Curious Scomber sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. This is the positions after 500m. Zingolina, Amazing Beauty, Stopping Map, Bol Dribbler, Counterfeit Rocket, Alice Opal, Frosty Beauty, Punching Factory. Alice Opal took the lead after 1000m. Frosty Beauty didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Frosty Beauty looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Counterfeit Rocket seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Alice Opal was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m. Geir Almighty galloped way to long and was disqualified. Counterfeit Rocket sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Curious Scomber sprinted over the finishline before Counterfeit Rocket and Punching Factory. Results
