Start List
The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Le Carouselle was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Commerciante quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. The leader got disturbed by something and Tropical Sparrow took the lead rather easily. Alice Opal suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. driver couldn't keep Commerciante to trotting so they were disqualified. Carlos Tequila saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Carlos Tequila kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Loving Space was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race Ghostly Peach galoped for 50 m. Useless Endurance was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Carlos Tequila were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Olle Goop tried a little too much on the homestretch and Alice Opal started to galopp and lost 30 m. Final standings. 1 Useless Endurance, 2 Le Carouselle, 3 Tropical Sparrow. Results
