One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Barefoot Angel tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Opposing Sunray that came steaming ahead.




Happy Comet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Wohlgefällig Zeigen who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Tähtianis took the lead after 1000m. Happy Comet didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
