One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lucky Garden tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Little Feeling that came steaming ahead. Gunnar Austevoll wanted a little to much in the start and Radiating Fall galoped for 20 m.




Lucky Garden quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Ma Belle looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Beautiful Starshine couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lucky Garden.

Lucky Garden didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
