Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rättvik track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Barefoot Angel. Sowing Sapphire ended up behind the leader. Étoile Jaune got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Étoile Jaune looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sowing Sapphire couldn't come out from behind the leader, Patriotic Rebel.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Patriotic Rebel followed by Sowing Sapphire and Ninja Cop. Lane two Barefoot Angel followed by Étoile Jaune and Charmed Moon.

Patriotic Rebel were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Étoile Jaune galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Zlim Qronos galoped way to long and was disqualified. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused U R Falling Short galop. U R Falling Short lost 50 m.

No-one could catch Patriotic Rebel today who won before Barefoot Angel and Sowing Sapphire.
