The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Of The Needle. Old Technology ended up behind the leader. Monster Truck got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Of The Needle started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Old Technology was still in the lead after 1500m.




Old Technology kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Old Technology sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Of The Needle today who won before Old Technology and Monster Truck.
