Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Drammen track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Holy Sunshine. Grasping Godiva ended up behind the leader. Cute Beauty got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Impatient Garden was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Holy Sunshine was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Grasping Godiva saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Thank You looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Holy Sunshine couldn't come out from behind the leader, Grasping Godiva.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Grasping Godiva followed by Thank You and Muscular Bullet. Lane two Holy Sunshine followed by Cute Beauty and Quick Judge.

Thank You speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Thank You didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
