One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Bouquet found a gap and took the lead. Grasping Diamond followed before Falling Queen.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Light Bouquet was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Light Bouquet followed by Grasping Diamond and Ice Ball. Lane two Sweet Sayonara followed by Falling Queen and .



Light Bouquet looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
