One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Kansas Treasure took the lead after a very quick start.




Famous Nugget saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Cluster One galloped for 60m and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Meinhard who started to galop and lost 40 m. A bird flew just in front of Frozen Bomb who started to galop and lost 20 m. Light Baby started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Falling Rocker started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Kansas Treasure sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
