One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Excellent Queen could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Jorma Kontio wanted a little to much in the start and Cleveland Striker galoped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Quick Striker sprinted to the front.




Stereo Freak looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Excellent Queen couldn't come out from behind the leader, Quick Striker. Moving Platinum galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Quick Striker was still in the lead after 1500m. Cleveland Striker started to gallop after 1500m and Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Quick Striker were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Paradise Eve was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Quick Striker kept the speed the whole finish and won before Excellent Queen and Lying Heat.
