One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Wandering Sky. Thinking Work ended up behind the leader. Empire On Fire got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Supermaniac, Brown Bomb, Opmerkelijk, Swinging Temptress, Calling You Darling, Thinking Work, Empire On Fire, Sophisticated Lily.

Opmerkelijk took the lead after 1000m. Thinking Work didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Supermaniac galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Thinking Work saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Swinging Temptress started to gallop after 1500m and Klaus Kern had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Thinking Work sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Thinking Work was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.

Wandering Sky sprinted over the finishline before Brown Bomb and Coughing Flower.
