One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Il Sogno Reale could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Sommet De Statut showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Reisen Abgeordneter saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Turbo Knut who started to galop and lost 50 m. Sommet De Statut galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Il Sogno Reale sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Il Sogno Reale today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Powerslave galoped for 50 m. Temple Knight speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Reisen Abgeordneter made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Il Sogno Reale.
