The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Adventurous Thrasher could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Roger Malmqvist wanted a little to much in the start and Sad Tropic galoped for 20 m. driver couldn't keep Charmed Pearl to trotting so they were disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Tuleva Minun sprinted to the front.




Humphin sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Humphin kept the speed the whole finish and won before Nouveau Triomphe and Adventurous Thrasher.
