One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavens On Fire was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Énorme Pegasos showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Café Au Lait quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Purple Doll who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Brave Star sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Modestine galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Brave Star followed by Heavens On Fire and Modestine. Lane two Overall Leader followed by Purple Doll and Criminal Thunder. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Café Au Lait gallopped for 40 m.



With only a little left of the race Énorme Pegasos galoped for 40 m. Brave Star were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Brave Star sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
