One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carlos Caipirinha took the lead after a very quick start.




Fierceful Ship saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Carlos Caipirinha galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
